Hovertravel Routes Overview
Hovertravel offers frequent crossings between
Southsea and Ryde. The service runs every 30
minutes starting from 06:30 in the morning until
20:30 in the evening.
The crossing takes 10 minutes onboard the high
speed Hovercraft.
Hovertravel Fleet and Onboard facilities
Hovertravel's fleet consists of very efficient
high speed amphibious hovercrafts with a
capacity of carrying about 130 passengers and
capable of reaching speeds above 45 knots.
These Hovercrafts have spacious interiors and
are designed to provide great comfort and
reliability to the passengers even in adverse
weather conditions.
