The fast ferry sea crossing to France from Hoverspeed ceased operations in November 2005 and can no longer be booked online with A Ferry UK.

Hoverspeed previously ran a service between the English port of Dover and the French port of Calais.

You can still book a variety of Ferries from Dover to Calais with the operators SeaFrance, P&O Ferries or travel by rail with Eurotunnel. You can also book with Norfolkline to the port of Dunkerque or with SpeedFerries to Boulogne.

	Book your ferry online and a booking reference will be sent to you by email. When you arrive at the port of departure present the booking reference number together with a photo ID and you will be given your ferry tickets.

HOVERSPEED ROUTES

The Company carried around 2.5 million passengers and over 500,000 vehicles across the Channel to Europe each year until it ceased operations in November 2005.

Hoverspeed operated a unique fleet of high-speed catamaran and monohull car ferries. In 2003 Hoverspeed operated a fleet of three Seacat catamarans on the prime Dover - Calais route, crossing in just under one hour with up to 15 daily departures during the peak season.
